Microsoft Surface Pro 5 release date specs rumors of anticipated gadget: what to expect

(Microsoft Store)Microsoft is rumored to launch more than one AIO gadget soon and one of those new products is believed to be the Surface Pro 5.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has made some improvements to its predecessor, Microsoft Surface Pro 3, but there are still a lot of improvements needed. The upcoming Microsoft Surface is expected to address the problems to make the Surface tablet closer to the laptop experience. Due to the improvements to be made on the latest Surface Pro model, the product is expected to be released in 2017.

Microsoft Surface Pro 5 was supposed to be unveiled in June, according to reports, but since Intel's upcoming Kaby Lake processor will not be out until the end of this year, launching of the product has also been delayed. Aside from the Kaby Lake processor, Microsoft is also reported to be waiting for the latest Redstone 2 update to launch the newest Microsoft 10 gadgets. Redstone 2 is scheduled to be released in the first quarter of 2017, which leads to speculations that the earliest the Microsoft Surface 5 will be launched is during the second quarter.

Many Microsoft Surface Pro 4 users have complained about the device's battery life and the Kaby Lake processor is expected to address the problem.

Aside from the hardware and software, Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is also speculated to include an improved Surface Pen wherein the stylus would come with a rechargeable battery that charges wirelessly. It is also believed to come in 2K screen and 4K screen model to cater to consumers' varying budget.

Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is also believed to have a USB-C port that could also be used for charging. Improvements in the front and back camera are also expected as well as the installation of the lastest WiFi and Bluetooth versions.

There has been no confirmation or any official statement from Microsoft yet so all the news have to be taken with a grain of salt.
