The upcoming season 8 episode 12 of "Modern Family" will focus on Phil (Ty Burrell) and Claire's (Julie Bowen) Valentine celebrations this year as the former calls upon his alter ego, Clive Bixby, to help him bring back the romance in their marriage.

"Modern Family" season 8 is currently in a 2-week hiatus. When the ABC comedy returns, though, its avid fans will be treated to an early Valentine episode titled "Do You Believe in Magic?" which will feature Clive Bixby helping Phil and Claire's Valentine celebration becoming more special.

"Phil summons his alter ego, Clive Bixby, for Valentine's Day when he worries that the romantic fire in his marriage has gone out. Meanwhile, Gloria is irked by Jay's apparent favoritism when it comes to Joe's improper gifts and Manny's dating insecurity; Cam and Mitch urge Lily, Haley and gal pal Sal to stand up to the men in their lives; and Alex learns she has a secret admirer," reads the synopsis for the upcoming episode for "Modern Family" season 8 episode 12.

Meanwhile, the ABC comedy's newest episode will also cast the spotlight on Phil and Claire's second daughter, Alex (Ariel Winter), as she discovers that she has a secret admirer. However, it is expected that the discovery will not lead into a blossoming relationship as it will be revealed that the boy has a link with the Dunphys.

Spoiler reports also claim that Jay (Ed O'Neill) and Gloria (Sofia Vergara) will face some issues on the upcoming episode as it will dawn on the latter that her husband is playing favorites between their two sons, Manny (Rico Rodriguez) and Joe (Jeremy Maguire).

"Do You Believe in Magic?" will also feature Cam (Eric Stonestreet) and Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) going on a luxurious boat trip. However, the supposed extravagant adventure will be spoiled by the couple's desire to teach their daughter Lily (Aubrey Anderson-Emmons) to stand up against boys but will get an unexpected result.

"Modern Family" season 8 returns to ABC for its episode 12 this Feb. 8 at 9/8 C.
