Game developer NetherRealm Studios has not announced any official details regarding its fighting video game's, "Mortal Kombat X," rumored Kombat Pack 3. However, rumors and speculations are still circulating online nonstop.

Although NetherRealm has not released any announcement on the highly anticipated Kombat Pack 3, co-creator Ed Boon dropped some hints on a poll he created on Twitter. The tweet was simple. He asked the fans if they are interested in purchasing the Xbox One S console. Apart from the "Yes" or "No" options on the poll, the third and last choice that Boon offered was Kombat Pack 3. He did not explain what he meant by the tweet, but fans were quick to assume that the upcoming expansion is indeed happening.

According to reports, there have been speculations that the characters that will be included in the upcoming Kombat Pack 3 may include Baraka, Fujin, Noob Saibot, Rain, and Sindel. Baraka was introduced in the second pack, which garnered mixed reception. However, gamers wanted more of Baraka with the addition of Fujin.

Noob Saibot also had a cameo in the previous pack, but he was not among the playable characters. He was also murdered by the scorned Scorpion. Apparently, gamers want to see the ninja in action under their control.

"Mortal Kombat X's" narrative mode has featured Rain as Prince of Edenia and Sindel as evil emperor Shao Kahn's wife. However, they are yet to be included as the main roster of the game.

In a previous interview with Game Insider, Boon revealed about guest characters for the upcoming "Injustice 2" game, which he referenced from "Mortal Kombat X."

Boon said, "Scorpion in Injustice was the most downloaded of all the characters. There was a coolness and a novelty factor to seeing the mixing of the things. Alien and Predator in Mortal Kombat X were the most downloaded of those, so I would be surprised if we didn't do any of that."

"Mortal Kombat X" is available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
