"Mr. Robot" is one of those ground breaking series that comes once every decade or so. The show was the first to have released its pilot episode online. It generated such an overwhelming response that it was the first show to have a second season picked up even before the first season aired. And even months after it ended, the show is still being streamed by countless viewers.

"Mr. Robot" also has a wide reach, as it has also established a loyal following in the UK and Australia. The cyber thriller is now being streamed on Australian networks Presto and Showcase. And in anticipation of season two, the series will reportedly be shown in the UK a few hours after it airs in the US.

According to "CNET," Amazon won the UK rights to "Mr. Robot." Amazon Prime subscribers can now watch the show's first season for free while non-subscribers can purchase it. And when season two of "Mr. Robot" commences, fans in the UK will be able to watch new episodes just hours after it is released in the US.

"Mr. Robot" revolves around Elliot Anderson (Rami Malek), a security engineer suffering from clinical depression and social anxiety disorder, who's recruited by Mr. Robot (Christian Slater). He joins hacker group fsociety in their mission to cancel all the world's debts by taking down E Corp.

The series ended the first season on a shocking twist that had fans wondering in what direction the second season will run. But according to "Mr. Robot" creator Sam Esmail, the next season will be darker than the first one, with Slater returning as Mr. Robot and as Edward Alderson, Elliot's long deceased father. There are also hints that season two will introduce a whole new world that the protagonist will soon be a part of.

No release date has been set yet for season two of "Mr. Robot" but it has been reported that the new season might premiere in June or July 2016.
