'Naruto Shippuden' 473 release date, plot spoilers: Obito goes back to life to help Kakashi unleash his Sharingan?

(Facebook/Naruto)"Naruto Shippuden" episode 473 will see Obito's return from death.

After the action-packed episode 472 of hit anime series "Naruto Shippuden," the upcoming episode 473, titled "The Sharingan Revived," may see Obito alive after all.

The promo trailer released for episode 473 shows that Obito could still come back from the dead. Obito pleads to Rin to return to the land of the mortals. Rin is curious about Obito's intention of returning from being dead; she wants to learn who he intends to save again. Although Rin eventually agrees, she reminds him that she will still be waiting for his return. After getting Rin's permission, Obito reappears in front of Kakashi.

According to reports, there have been past rumors that Obito will eventually be resurrected. However, his return to the land of the living may not last for a very long time and he may no longer get the chance of a rematch against Kaguya. He promised Rin to get one more thing done in the mortal world and that might not be to fight Kaguya again. His intention is most likely just to give Kakashi his help in order for the latter to improve more.

Meanwhile, Kakashi is expected to uncover his other eye. For the entire run of the anime and even the manga, Kakashi is known to cover his other eye and, when he does show the other one, it usually means that something huge is coming up. There are speculations that Kakashi may unleash his Sharingan powers in the upcoming episode.

Obito's mission is more likely helping Kakashi on how to make use of his Mangekyo Sharingan and transform into the Sixth Hokage.

Meanwhile, the previous episode 472 saw the fatal damage on Obito. Although Naruto opted to use his healing jutsu, it was still no match to Kaguya's attack. Before Obito turned into ash, a brief history of his life was shown.

"Naruto Shippuden" episode 473 is slated to air on Aug. 25.
