'NBA 2K16' latest updates: New locker codes tipped for February release; Roster Update out now

During the holiday season, "NBA 2K16" players were thrilled with the release of updated locker codes along with holiday-themed and Marvel-themed jerseys. While players are always looking to score the latest locker codes, it seems that they may have to wait until February the next batch of locker codes.

According to The Bit Bag, 2K Sports is first focusing on the ongoing #NBAVote poll for the next "NBA2K16" Cover Athlete. It is also possible that the results of the poll will be the basis of the next batch of locker codes.

While waiting for new locker codes, players can still use the locker codes released during the holiday season. They will be available for players throughout January.

Just recently, 2K Sports also released the latest Roster Update for "NBA 2K16" to reflect real-world NBA rankings.

According to Operation Sports, the following players have had their attributes increased by one point: Kevin Durant, John Wall, Chris Paul, Andre Drummond, DeMarcus Cousins, Carmelo Anthony, Dwayne Wade, DeMar DeRozan, Pau Gasol, Chris Bosh, Nikola Vucevic, Reggie Jackson, Karl-Anthony Towns, Gordon Hayward, Avery Bradley, Manu Ginobili and Kobe Bryant.

The following players have had a two-point increase in their attributes: Draymond Green, Jimmy Butler and Kemba Walker.

Players who had a one-point decrease in attributes include C.J. McCollum, Rudy Gay and Andrew Wiggins. Tim Duncan and Marc Gasol went down by two points.

Based on the updated attributes, the top five players of "NBA 2K16." Stephen Curry is still in the top stop with 95 followed closely by Lebron James (94), Kawhi Leonard (92) and Russell Westbrook (91). Anthony Davis, Kevin Durant and James Harden share fiifth place as they all have a ranking of 90.

The latest Roster Update also gives players new accessories and team color changes.

"NBA 2K16" is available to play on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and the Microsoft Windows PC. Stay tuned for the latest updates.
