Spoilers for "NCIS: LA" have already revealed that season seven will see Callen (Chris O'Donnell) going rogue on a personal mission that's suspected to have something to do with his father. But while the "NCIS" leader might be struggling in his personal life this season, the other members of his team will be blossoming.

Fans are looking forward to how Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and Kensi's (Daniela Ruah) relationship will play out next season. In "Citadel," the second episode of season seven, Kensi feels that Deeks is hiding something from her. As it turns out, it's not something but someone – his mother.

After seven seasons, the mysterious Mrs. Deeks will finally be introduced. Portrayed by "Parks and Recreation's" alum, Pamela Reed. Mrs. Deeks has been described as a strong woman who will shed more light to the secretive detective's past. Fans would recall that Deeks has been very careful about revealing his past, even to the point of not listing anyone as his next of kin, which was something that his team mates found out when he was shot in the episode "Personal."

Another woman from Deeks past that is also set to return to "NCIS: LA" is Talia Del Campo (Mercedes Mason). The usually engaging DEA agent is reportedly more subdued this time around as she asks the "NCIS" team for help in solving her partner's murder.

Fans will also be treated to another romance that's long been brewing, that of Nell (Renee Felice Smith) and Eric (Barrett Foa). According to showrunner, Shane Brennan, fans will definitely see the duo's relationship grow next season.

"It's obviously not as developed as Kensi and Deeks' relationship, but there's definitely more fun to be had there," Brennan said.

Eric seems to be headed for more changes next season as it has also been reported that he will be getting some weapons training from Sam Hanna (LL Cool J).

"NCIS: LA" is set to return to CBS on September 21 and the episode "Citadel" will air on Sept. 28.
