'NCIS: New Orleans' season 3 episode 6 spoilers: Team probes death of a Navy Seal candidate

(Facebook/NCIS New Orleans)“NCIS: New Orleans” season 3 airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on CBS.

The team is looking into the death of a Navy Seal candidate in the upcoming episode 6, titled "One Good Man," of the third season of the American police procedural drama "NCIS: New Orleans."

The NCIS team has to investigate the murder of a petty officer who was supposed to complete his Navy Seal training with a controversial instructor. The team decides to reassess the training exercises that could be linked to the Navy Seal candidate's death. Pride (Scott Bakula), on the other hand, is asked to help a concerned Wade (CCH Pounder) whose adopted son, Danny (Christopher Meyer), wants to enter the Navy.

Meanwhile, veteran actor Bakula reveals in the recent CBS12 set visit that he is hands on with the scripts and very protective of his character Pride. He explained that being critical is important because it is his face that delivers the line after all.

Also, the situations on the series are reflective of what's happening in the real world so he needs to check and ask everything out. However, Bakula admitted that it's hard to balance reality and entertainment.

"Everything kind of crosses over into each other. It's hard to ignore what's going on around you," he said. "Within that, if you can also address and pay attention to what's going on in the world, it definitely affects the writers. It affects what we do."

Meanwhile, the previous episode, titled "Course Correction," saw the NCIS and FBI teams working together to investigate a private plane crash in the bayou, which took three lives. Sonja (Shalita Grant) and Lasalle (Lucas Black), on the other hand, were assigned to interview candidates for the team's open agent position. The team also discovered two CIA agents' dead bodies.

"NCIS: New Orleans" season 3 airs every Tuesday at 10 p.m. on CBS.
