There are two more episodes left and season 13 of "NCIS" will be over. This also signals the last season for Michael Weatherly's character, Tony DiNozzo, and Cote de Pablo's Ziva David will not be there to say goodbye.

The confirmation came from de Pablo herself at Babson College in Massachusetts. With her confirmation, she also explained the real reason why she left the show, saying that she felt her character was not given the respect she deserved. She was quick to add, however, that although Ziva won't physically appear on the show, her relationship with Tony will play an important role on his exit.

Although de Pablo will not be there in Weatherly's last episode, her announcement has somehow given the fans some closure regarding the Tony-Ziva relationship.

Gary Glasberg, "NCIS" executive producer, says that "Tony's relationship with Ziva absolutely will have an impact on his reason to depart."

Meanwhile, the synopsis for Episode 23 of NCIS reveals that the team will be chasing after an MI6 rogue agent named Jacob Scott, who was last seen shooting FBI's Agent Fornell in the chest. Agent Fornell sustained two gunshot wounds and is now fighting for his life at the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital.

Episode 23, which is called "Dead Letter," will also introduce new characters in the series. These characters will become series regulars in the next season of "NCIS." The said stars are Sarah Clarke and Duane Henry.

Clarke, who starred in the hit series "24," will portray the role of FBI agent Tess Monroe. Duane, on the other hand, will play the role of another former MI6 agent.

Weatherly's last appearance will be on episode 24 titled, "Family First," which will also feature a lot of guest stars including Robert Wagner as Tony's dad.

Episode 23 will air on May 10, while episode 24 will air on May 17 at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
