'NCIS' season 14 spoilers: Torres using NCIS to get revenge on someone?

(Facebook/NCIS)Nick Torres butt heads with Gibbs in "NCIS" season 14.

Nick Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) may have a personal agenda for going back into the fold in the new season of "NCIS." Is he using Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and the others to get revenge on someone?

It had previously been revealed that Valderrama's character was a deep undercover agent who had suddenly vanished while working on a case in Argentina. Even his friends thought he died. When he resurfaces, Nick will offer his skills to the NCIS and Gibbs will give him another chance to prove himself.

Unfortunately, the agent is not an easy man to get along with. Used to working all by himself, Nick does not like being in a group. Valderrama teased during the San Diego Comic-Con (as per Enstarz) that Torres and Gibbs would frequently butt heads in the new installment.

"We've already gotten into each other's faces in one of the scenes. I can't tell you much about it, but Gibbs and I are butting heads already. There's something that's going to happen, but we already have like a little father/son kind of thing. I'm the black sheep of the family so far," the actor said.

Meanwhile, Movie News Guide reports that Nick is an unstable, dangerous man. No one knows what happened during the years he was AWOL. It is possible that he came back to discover what went wrong in his previous case. Nick may have joined the NCIS as a cover for his true mission.

Aside from Nick, another new addition to the squad is Alex Quinn (Jennifer Esposito). A former field agent, Alex is working as an instructor at the Law Enforcement Training Center when Gibbs offers her a job.

New details have been revealed about Esposito's character. In a live Q&A, the actress said that Alex and Gibbs have known each other for years. The senior agent is privy on what made Alex chose to teach rather than be on the field. It was also teased that Alex was one of Nick's instructors in the academy. Just like Gibbs, the two shared a history.

"NCIS" season 14 airs on Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
