Nick Cannon and singing legend Mariah Carey seem to be having experiencing bumps in their six-year marriage.

Since getting married, Carey and Cannon have tried their best to keep their personal life under wraps, unlike most celebrity couples.

As much as the two want to keep their issues within themselves, a source claiming to be a close friend of the couple spoke to a gossip website to reveal details about Carey and Cannon's relationship.

According to the source, Carey is having a hard time dealing with her husband's career choices.

"She is heartbroken. This has been going on for months. It has a lot to do with Nick's career choices. He does not have to work, but he's been throwing himself into gigs and projects," the source told, as reported by E! Online.

The source went on to reveal that though their financial status is exactly where the couple wants it to be, Cannon does everything to keep himself away from home and their children.

"She has tried and tried to get him to stay home more, but he always uses work as an excuse," the source added.

"When she points out that, financially, he does not need to be working as much as he does, it pisses him off and pushes him farther away. He hates when people assume he's living off her money," the source continued.
