After three years of delays, Infinite Fall has finally launched its highly awaited title. However, gamers in Europe will have to wait a few more days for the release of "Night in the Woods." The developers took to Twitter to make the announcement. They wrote, "Hey everyone! Just a note- the PS4 release of NITW is delayed to the 28th in the EU. Bunch of random factors. Our apologies."

"Night in the Woods" was created by Scott Benson and Bethany Hockenberry. It follows the life of college Mae Borowski who returns to the hometown, the former mining town of Possum Springs, in an attempt to get her life together. When she comes home in hopes of reconnecting with longtime friends, she realizes that strange things start happening as soon as the sun sets.

The title encourages exploration, but it focuses heavily on character, setting, and narrative. The game is set in a vibrant world, with a dozen other characters that players can meet and interact with.

The game has had a number of delays since it was officially announced in 2014. It was previously slated to release in 2015, but was pushed back to 2016. The developers then opted for a January 2016 release, but the developers further pushed the launch date back to Feb. 21. Prior to the release of "Night in the Woods," Infinite Fall managed to push out two supplemental titles, "Longest Night" and "Lost Constellation." Both of the games are not demo versions. Both are side-stories for the main title, "Night in the Woods."

It has been a long time coming, but "Night in the Woods" is now available on Steam for $19.99.

More updates should arrive soon.
