NVIDIA GTX 1050 release date, updates: GPU is more affordable, but contains powerful specs

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 is anticipated to be released this late September or this coming October, and it's possible that this will be the last graphics processing unit (GPU) that NVIDIA is launching for 2016. The GTX 1050 is also expected to be more affordable than the previous GPUs that were already released by NVIDIA, but it will still be powerful.
NVIDIA has launched several GPUs this year alone. According to reports, one of them is the GeForce GTX 1080 and this gaming graphics card is said to be one of the most powerful GPUs. After that, the GeForce GTX 1070 was released, but when one compared it to the GTX 1080, the latter still came out on top.
If that was not enough, NVIDIA released their third GPU for the year, which was the GeForce GTX 1060, and it came out with two variants - the 6GB and 3GB. The company also finally unveiled a powerhouse GPU, the NVIDIA Titan X.
These graphics cards are very powerful, but the only downside to them are the costly price tags.
This is where the GP107-400 or NVIDIA Pascal-based GeForce GTX 1050 comes into the picture. According to Yibada, the GTX 1050 will be sold at a lower price, but it will still contain great specs. However, its performance may be lower than the GTX 1060 3GB GPU. There is no exact price that was announced for the hardware, but it is anticipated to be priced lower than $200.
Reports are saying that the GeForce GTX 1050 will contain a 4GB of GDDR5 memory. The base clock of the GPU will be set at 1316 MHz, and it also has less CUDA cores so it may not be as fast as the GTX 1060 3GB model. However, the GTX 1050 has a higher speed than the GTX 950.
With regards to the release date of the latest GPU from NVIDIA, it might be delayed since the company has been having problems with the supply. There is a chance that the GeForce GTX 1050 may be released late September, but other sources are reporting that it may have an October launch instead.
