(Facebook / One Punch Man Fans)"One Punch Man" will be featured in the upcoming Anime Expo on July 2.

Fans are still waiting for new updates on "One Punch Man" season 2 and they might just get it this week.

The Anime Expo (AX 2016) just started and the animated series has gained a spot at the said event. There will be a talk show dedicated to "One Punch Man" called "One Punch Matsuri." Animation director Shingo Natsume and Saitama voice actor Makoto Furukawa are set to appear in the talk show as guests, this Saturday, July 2 at 3:30 p.m. at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Although there wasn't any mention about what kind of details will be revealed by then, speculation is rife that that "One Punch Man's" release date will be announced. Plot details might be shared at the event as well.

Until Natsume or Furukawa reveals something about the hit animated series tomorrow, "One Punch Man" is still subject to rumors. Latest reports suggest that season 2 will return this October. The first season also premiered in October last year, which is why the series is likely to premiere in this same month for this year.

Manga artist Yusuke Murata is also reportedly focused on the anime at the moment, which is why "One Punch Man" season 2 could be released soon.

As for the plot, it is widely speculated that Saitama will face three enemies in the upcoming season. One of them is Garou, a former trainee of S-class hero Fang.

Fang had hopes that Garou would train to become a hero and use his abilities for good, but it turns out that Garou transitioned to the dark side.

Amai Mask and Lord Boros are also considered to be among the villains for the next season. It can be recalled that Saitama had a fight with Lord Boros last season but things didn't go well for the latter. It is speculated that he will return and will be all the more determined to defeat Saitama.
