Fans are still kept in the dark regarding the release date of "One Punch Man" season 2. Other details involving the next installation of the series remain scarce as well.

Manga creator Murata Yusuke has previously announced that production for season 2 has started, which leads many to believe that the anime will premiere in November or December. However, the material the story is based on is only halfway through the plot, which makes others speculate that the earliest release date would be next year.

It is widely believed that season 2 will pick up from the last featured fight. The fight was between main protagonist Saitama and the first season's main antagonist Lord Boros. Lord Boros was defeated and this came to him as a surprise. Saitama did not even use half of his strength, but won over the fight. With this, Lord Boros is believed to ask for another battle and will give the hero a harder fight the next time around.

The next season is also believed to explore the beginnings of Saitama more. While it is known that he was picked on as a child and was surprised with his strength, the origins of his superhuman power punch has not been discussed.

A former disciple of Silver Fang named Garou is also rumored to be one of the main antagonists in the upcoming season. Garou is said to be more powerful than Lord Boros and is called "Human Monster" by the Hero Association. Unlike other antagonists, he usually does not engage in battle with weaker opponents, unless provoked.

However, the character believed to be the season's main antagonist is an unlikely foe. Amai Mask who is illustrated to be good looking with a fun personality is said to lose his way as the story progresses and will eventually leave Hero Association to join the enemy.

Details are expected to start coming out by June, but for those who cannot get enough of "One Punch Man," an OVA titled "The Sisters Who Have Too Many Things Happening" will be released on Apr. 22.
