'One Punch Man' season 2 news, rumors: will the limits of Saitama's powers be depicted in the upcoming installment?

(Facebook/One Punch Man)Does Saitama's powers have limits? The debate goes on as fans wait for "One Punch Man" season 2

Saitama and the Z City heroes will return for "One Punch Man" season two, and while there is no specific release date yet for next year, there are already numerous speculations about the plot.

A popular topic these days is the alleged limitations of Saitama's powers. As fans know, Saitama is very much limitless, at least according to the story that was depicted in season one. However, there are now fans suggesting that his powers may actually have some limits, as opposed to what viewers of the hit series know.

These fans have pointed to the battle between Lord Boros and Saitama, wherein it was seen that the former was actually able to fend off some of Saitama's strongest attacks. Since Lord Boros could be powerful enough to stand against Saitama, there could be other un-introduced villains who are able to take him down.

On the other hand, Saitama's loyal fan base rebutted these suggestions. For them, Saitama's refusal to use his ultimate powers in any of the previous battles he has won is evidence enough to say that he is indeed a limitless hero and he has other strengths to show in "One Punch Man" season two.

While Lord Boros was defeated, it is speculated that he will return as a stronger and much better foe for Saitama. Some also believe that Saitama will be faced with other villains in "One Punch Man" season two. These allegedly include: Amai Mask and Garou.

Garou is more of a villain compared to Amai Mask. He has an evil way of life and was actually kicked out while training at Bang's dojo due to his behavior, even crippling his classmates permanently. Will he be the person to completely defeat Saitama?

Amai Mask, on the other hand, is a very popular hero in his town. He is considered a star and many citizens love him. He is actually an A-Class hero and holds the highest rank in that category within the Hero Association. While he is powerful enough to be in the S-Class, he refused to be promoted since he wants to give the lower-ranked heroes a chance to move up.

Will anyone, either Lord Boros, Garou, or Amai Mask be able to take down Saitama? Find out when "One Punch Man" season two premieres sometime 2017.
