(Madhouse)"One Punch Man" season 2 will have Saitama face more stronger enemies.

While Madhouse studios remains silent about the release date of "One Punch Man" season 2, the rumor mill gives out endless speculations about it. The newest of the bunch is that it will be coming out by the end of 2016.

The newest rumor in the land of Anime started out when a One Punch Man Twitter account tweeted: "One Punch Man no doubt will come to Toonami. Probably by the end of the year."

However, this "announcement" will remain as a rumor unless it is confirmed by the anime studio or the TV networks. Also, the Twitter user who posted the said tweet is an unconfirmed account and it could also mean that the first season dubbed in English will be released.

It was previously reported that crafting "One Punch Man" season 2 is put on hold. The release will be delayed because of the lack of original content. Although the manga artist Yusuke Murata is working on updating the source material, it could also lead for the anime to have an early 2017 airing.

As for the plotline, rumors reveal that it will have a civil war-themed story. Fans can also expect a heroes showdown between Hero's Hunter and Hero's Association, forcing Saitama and Genos to make necessary preparations for the fight.

Apparently, Blast, an S-ranked hero, is the one who arranged the enlistment of new members to create the brand-new organization opposite Hero's Association called Hero's Hunter.

Saitama's closest friend and ally, Genos, agrees to be a part of the new group of Heroes, causing a conflict between the two. Saitama feels a bit betrayed and chooses to stick with the Hero's Association. Fortunately, the rift will later on be straightened out after the real motives will be unveiled.

Aside from the civil war theme, there is also possibility that the second season will tell the tale of Saitama's origin. This is intended for the fans who would want to know more about the origin of his super punch.
