'One Punch Man' season 2 rumors: Saitama to be garbed in a new costume?

(Facebook/One Punch Man)Rumors claim that Saitama will have a new costume in "One Punch Man" season 2.

Although the yellow tights and white cape have helped Saitama/One Punch Man become a distinct anime superhero, the latest rumors claim that the bald superhero may soon drop his iconic One Punch Man suit and don a new one in the upcoming season 2 of "One Punch Man."

According to the latest reports, "One Punch Man" season 2 may feature Saitama wearing a different costume. As to how the new costume looks like, no details are available yet, though. If such a rumor turns out to be true, fans may no longer see the bald superhero in his yellow tights, red pairs of gloves and boots, and white cape in the next installment of the popular anime series.

Apart from the rumor of potentially having a new set of costume, it is also said that Saitama will have a more expressive face in "One Punch Man" season 2. This means that the character may also drop his iconic almost-stoic facial expression that has also become one  of his trademarks.

Another change that can happen to the physical appearance of Saitama in the next season of the anime series is no longer being hairless, at least, in one of its episodes. After all, it was rumored recently that the bald superhero will wear a wig as a part of his disguise as he joins a martial arts tournament in one of "One Punch Man" season 2 episodes.

Could it be that the alleged costume overhaul of Saitama is all in relation to the said tournament episode only? Fans can only speculate for now.

Meanwhile, apart from the latest rumor claiming that Saitama will have a different costume in "One Punch Man" season 2, speculations on the bald superhero facing Garou in the next season of the anime have also persisted. While numerous sources claim that Saitama will experience his first defeat in the hands of Garou, some believe it will not be the case as "One Punch Man" season 2 will feature Saitama growing stronger and more powerful.

"One Punch Man" season 2 was announced in September last year. However, Madhouse Entertainment has yet to make an official statement as to when it will arrive. Nonetheless, it is suspected that the anime will return to the small screen in early 2018, and not this 2017, because of its alleged production delays.
