Avid fans of "One Punch Man" are becoming more excited after it was announced that the anime is getting a season 2, and the excitement continues to build up as it is rumored that Saitama/One Punch Man will face a resurrected and stronger Lord Boros and many other villains on the anime's new season. 

Avid fans of the series know too well that Saitama already defeated Lord Boros in the season 1 finale of "One Punch Man." However, it is said that Lord Boros will resurrect from the dead in "One Punch Man" season 2 and will be stronger than he used to be. This will put Saitama's powers to the test once more and may even make him bite the dust.

As if a more powerful Lord Boros were not enough to challenge Saitama, it is also said that the villain will have formidable allies with him that may just clip Saitama's wings and give the Hero Association tough battles.

It is also alleged that Saitama will clash with other members of the Hero Association, namely Amai Mask, Silver Fang, and their former apprentice, Garou.

Apart from the super-powered villains, there are also rumors claiming that Saitama will also face a powerful clan of ninja who will give him a hard time as well.

Perhaps, the most exciting twist to "One Punch Man" season 2 is the alleged souring of the relationship between Saitama and his self-proclaimed apprentice, the cyborg Genos. Rumors claim that viewers can expect that the two will engage in an action-packed encounter as well.

Apparently, Saitama will be facing a lot of opponents in the upcoming season 2 of "One Punch Man." After all, it has been reported that the anime's new season will have more number of episodes as compared to its first season. Instead of just having 12 episodes like its first season, "One Punch Man" season 2 will have 19 episodes. Hence, it's not really surprising if the anime will really have a lot of villains to feature.

While there is still no official announcement yet, it is suspected that "One Punch Man" season 2 will arrive in early 2017.
