'Orange Is the New Black' season 4 spoilers: A darker season

(Facebook / Orange is the New Black)While waiting for the fourth season, viewers may watch previous episodes on Netflix.

The previous season of "Orange Is the New Black" ended with the conversion of prison beds into two-level bunk beds and reinforced security measures. With the arrival of several buses filled with new inmates, more conflicts are in store for season 4.

In an interview with Huffpost Entertainment, actress Selenis Leyva said, "My heart was beating fast for the six months we were shooting." She plays an inmate named Gloria Mendoza in the series.

The upcoming season is set to start with an intense episode. While the women are having fun at the lake, the unauthorized frolic outside the prison zone is due to have its corresponding punishment. Alex's (Laura Prepon) life is also hanging in the balance as the new guard appears to be under Kubra's payroll.

Black Cindy (Adrienne C. Moore) ended on a high note when her desire to be fully Jewish was realized with the construction mishap. It is exciting to know what changes await her in the new season and how she applies this newfound faith in dealing with her fellow prisoners.

In the same interview, Leyva said, "I think season 4 is going to be one of the most talked about seasons." Each season is widely talked about, and to emphasize what awaits to be seen, Leyva added, "There's a lot of danger lurking around the corner this season."

The actress also said that there will be more conflicts and division among groups when season 4 airs and hints that "This is the season of the rise of the Latinas and there's a lot of conflict within that."

There are reports claiming that filming for season 5 will begin soon. While waiting for season 4 to premiere in June, fans can revisit their favorite episodes on Netflix.
