'Orphan Black' season 3 episode 2 spoilers: the Castor Clones may want Leda's tissue samples because they are defective

(BBC America/Facebook)Seth (Ari Millen) will appear as one of the Castor Clones in episode 2.

"Orphan Black" premiered its third season last week and fans can't seem to get enough of the villainous Castor Clones. Not only was Rudy or Scarface scary, but viewers also saw glimpses of the others. Why is Castor after Leda?

TVGuide's official episode description reveals that the reason Castor is behind Leda is because they want their original tissue samples. Fashion & Style also states that Sarah will glean that the male clones have a mysterious defect which puts their life at risk. What defect could these clones have? Is it the same thing that Cosima has? It seems highly likely. Judging from the fact that they want Leda's tissue samples and Duncan's original genome sequence, it seems the clones are running their own experiment. It seems this all may be a plan to cure themselves of a defect or problem that could lead them to their death.

However, all is not hopeless for the sisterhood. The Castor boys will be out to play and they will toy with a frightened young woman named Patty. Patty will inadvertently be part of a sexy switcheroo. But the boys' game will lead Sarah and Art hot on the Castor trail, reveals International Business Times. Apart from Art, fans will see Cal, Paul (who has gone on the dark side) as well as Castor clones Rudy and Seth.

A mysterious new villain will examine Helena. Fans may recall that at the end of the premiere, a woman was seen holding a cigarette. Is that the new villain? Things don't seem too good for Helena. She may be out of the box, but that doesn't mean the Castor Clones will let her be.

Entertainment Weekly also reports that Rudy is a trained soldier and loves pushing people's buttons and getting under their skin. He's the most vicious Castor Clone.

Episode 2 titled "Transitory Sacrifices Of Crisis" airs on Saturday, April 25 at 9 p.m. ET on BBC America.
