Swedish YouTube star Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg a.k.a. PewDiePie has snatched his own MLG.tv channel to exclusively air new content in the hour-long show BroKen.

"We're excited to introduce PewDiePie to the MLG.tv network as we continue to deliver exclusive content from the best producers in the world," MLG VP of Programing, Ryan "Fwiz" Wyatt, said.

Wyatt continued, "Our vision for MLG.tv is to make it the home for premium content and producers like PewDiePie and his show 'BroKen.' This type of programming deal with PewDiePie, one of the biggest stars in digital media, is a great example of the premier talent we have joining the growing MLG.tv line-up."

PewDiePie's channel has more than 30 million subscribers and has surpasses RihannaVEVO as the most viewed channel of all time.

This YouTuber specializes in video game commentary and reactions as he plays through them, especially horror and action video games.

According to Reuters, "PewDiePie's uncanny trendsetting talent highlights the potential that content related to video games holds for Google Inc as it looks for ways to build its YouTube video platform into a powerful new revenue stream."

PewDiePie is not just another popular Let's Play YouTube user.

Wall Street Journal reports that the online megastar earns at least $4 million in ad sales per year.

Kjellberg creates his videos mostly alone, very quick and with uncensored language.

"Unlike many professionally produced shows, I think I've established a much closer contact with my viewers, breaking the wall between the viewer and what's behind the screen," he said.

"What I and other YouTubers do is a very different thing, it's almost like hanging around and watching your pal play games. My fans care in a different way about what they are watching."

PewDiePie will join some of the big players from around the globe including ACL Pro from Australia, Gfinity from UK, UMG from the United States and other YouTube stars whose programs are being aired on MLG.tv.
