Ever since "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" was announced, fans have been ecstatic to hear of updates and developments on set. However, there have been minimal updates over the past months and there are now rumors suggesting production is being delayed due to Johnny Depp's alleged lack of professionalism.

A report by Yahoo U.K. says the crew deem working with the famous star "a nightmare." It is further reported that Depp's behavior started when his marriage to Amber Heard began to be on the rocks.

Heard and Depp had been publicly bickering over their divorce and it is said that this could be the reason why the actor has been arriving late for filming. Rumor also has it that there was even a time when he failed to show up for work due to his marital issues seemingly taking a toll on him.

Previous reports alleged that at one time during a moment of rage that involved high levels of alcohol and ecstasy, Depp cut the edge of his finger, and that same finger was later purportedly used to write a cryptic message that said his ex-wife Heard had been cheating on him with actor and musician Billy Bob Thornton. The 61-year-old songwriter has vehemently denied the accusation about him having an affair with the 30-year-old actress.

Another report that came out recently was that of Depp incurring a hand injury, though details are scarce on the said incident. He was purportedly flown to the United States from the set in the Gold Coast.

Depp has been in a lot of drama and headlines over the past few months, most especially when Heard filed for divorce and accused the actor of physically abusing her.

Depp has not yet responded to the issues so fans can hope for now that production for "Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" gets wrapped up in time for the expected May 2017 release.
