'Pirates of the Caribbean 5' updates, rumors: will Johny Depp still deliver iconic Sparrow to big screens?

(Facebook/PiratesoftheCaribbean)Despite rumors to the contrary, Johnny Depp is still the star of "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales."

Following the shocking events that spilled Johny Depp's marriage problems to the public, fans are getting worried that the actor will no longer be able to pull off the iconic role of Captain Jack Sparrow that he is very well known for.

Depp has been a huge icon among children who have been captivated by the "Pirates of the Caribbean" films, and now that the fifth installment, "Dead Men Tell No Tales" is on the way, rumors on Depp's issues seem to keep battering the actor.

On the other hand, there are new reports suggesting that Depp is turning his focus to his career, specifically his music, despite all the allegations thrown at him. The question is: will his music be enough to keep him sane until he completes everything needed of him for "Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales?"

In the upcoming film, Depp's titular role of Sparrow will be going around the seas in search of the Trident of Poseidon so he can defeat an old enemy by the name of Captain Salazar - to be played by Javier Bardem.

As expected, his good, old friend Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) will be involved in Sparrow's new adventure. After all, who knows the seas better than the Turner-turned-Davy-Jones, captain of the Flying Dutchman?

Rumor has it that "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" is now in the post-production stage, meaning only a few touches will be required to complete the movie. However, there were previous reports stating that Depp's behavior and unprofessionalism has led to the delay in production for a couple of weeks.

Depp may have been devastated over his failed marriage, which could possibly have led to his purported issues on set, and in turn affected his co-stars and the crew. On the other hand, it seems that the actor is trying to re-focus on the good things he still has in life, and one of them is his career.

"Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" hits the big screens on May 26, 2017.
