'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales' news, premiere date: Film to have different title in UK, France

It's been a long time coming, but the fifth "Pirates of the Caribbean" will finally see the light of day. Subtitled "Dead Men Tell No Tales" in the United States, the film will carry a different subtitle in the United Kingdom.
UK moviegoers will see "Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar's Revenge" as the title of the upcoming film, while "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Revenge of Salazar" will be the title in France, Italy, and Spain. The reason behind the change has not been outlined, but it is believed that it has something to do with trademarks or films of similar titles.
With the less-than-stellar success of "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides," many thought that a fifth installment in the franchise would not be possible. But Disney is back with another swashbuckler film and, this time, it will see the son of Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) all grown up and looking for his father.
The upcoming film will see Henry Turner (Brenton Thwaites) searching for his father, whom viewers last saw in the third "Pirates of the Caribbean" film fulfilling his duties as Davy Jones. It has been noted that Bloom is set to reprise his role in the fifth film. The story will also follow Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) as he searches for the Trident of Poseidon, an artifact that is capable of controlling the seas, so that he may escape or defeat his enemy, a fellow pirate named Salazar (Javier Bardem), who has recently made his way out of the Devil's Triangle.
A teaser trailer for the new film was also released a month ago. It starts off with British soldiers on a ship as the vessel crosses a large, stony arch. The ship is then attacked by a group of supernatural-looking pirates and its men are killed. The captain of the attackers, Salazar, makes his way through the vessel amid the fire and violence. He meets Henry, who is presumably being taken as a prisoner by the British soldiers. Salazar asks Henry if he knows who Jack Sparrow is, and Henry replies that he knows him "only by name." Salazar politely asks Henry to look for Jack Sparrow and inform him that "death will come straight for him."
"Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" will premiere in theaters on May 26, 2017.
