Every month, gamers always look forward to the list of titles that are included in PlayStation Plus free games. Rumor has it, the list may include triple-A games like "Watch Dogs."

According to reports, Ubisoft could offer a free "Watch Dogs" for October's PlayStation Plus free games to hype up its upcoming title "Watch Dogs 2." Triple-A games released for the free monthly roster is a rare thing to happen, but the game developer may consider it to promote the much-anticipated sequel of the title.

Released in 2014, "Watch Dogs" is an open-world action-adventure third-person shooter video game that follows a hacker in Chicago, Illinois who is seeking revenge of his niece's murder. Gamers can explore the city of Chicago.

There are also speculations that other triple-A titles that may be added to the roster, including Capcom's action-adventure third-person shooter game "Resident Evil 6." Players get to step on the shoes of former member of Bio-terrorism Security Assessment Alliance, Chris Redfield, who is scarred from the group's failed operation.

Also, "Resident Evil 7" is slated to release in January 2017, so it could be a good strategy for Capcom to promote the upcoming title by making the "Resident Evil 6" free for Sony's PS Plus October list.

Another title that is rumored to be included next month is "Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition." The Definitive Edition is the 2014 updated version of 2013's "Tomb Raider" by Square Enix. It is the reboot of Lara Croft's adventure. Apparently, the upcoming installment for the "Tomb Raider" franchise, "Rise of the Tomb Raider," is slated to be released on PlayStation 4 next month. The PS Plus free games may include the previous title as an added bonus for the upcoming title's release.
