Many "Pokemon" fans are now getting anxious waiting for the much anticipated game, "Pokemon Z," and the augmented reality mobile-based App, "Pokemon GO." Unfortunately, up until now, Nintendo still hasn't said anything regarding the matter. However, many speculations have come out that points out to many possible release dates for the IPs, and a couple of them point to a February launch or a release in May 2016.

According to the report from Movie Pilot last year, based on the gap between the announcement and launch game that Nintendo did a few years back, it would seem likely that the next game installment, "Pokemon Z," will probably be announced sometime earlier this year, or even in May 2016.

Furthermore, to give a better idea on the timeframe, Movie Pilot stated that Nintendo typically releases a new "Pokemon" title not less than five months after it was announced. "Pokemon X and Y" was first revealed to the public on Jan. 8, 2013 and soon became available on Oct. 12, 2013, which was actually 9 months apart.

"Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" was first announced on May 17, 2014 and Nintendo had released the game on Nov. 14 of the same year, 6 months gap.

All that said, a May 2016 announcement would probably be the case and a few more months before the actual release date.

Meanwhile, as for the AR mobile App "Pokemon GO," the same website had speculated before that the smartphone game, which is currently being developed by "Ingress" maker Niantics Inc., is still in Beta phase and could be released sometime this year.

However, at this point, it would be best for fans to just wait for further announcements coming from Nintendo and Niantics Inc. regarding the release date of the two highly anticipated games, "Pokemon Z" and "Pokemon GO." Needless to say, it is highly advisable to take the circulating rumors with a pinch of salt and consider it as mere speculations until proven otherwise.
