PS Plus June 2015 free games prediction: Triple A titles 'Driveclub,' 'Knack,' or 'Killzone: Shadow Fall' to commemorate E3

The annual trade fair for the video game industry is just around the corner. The 2015 Electronic Entertainment Expo, more commonly known as E3, takes place on June 16–18 at the Los Angeles Computer Center. The event is used by many video game developers and console makers to reveal and advertise their upcoming games or related merchandise. Like most of the participants in the expo, Sony Computer Entertainment, makers of the PlayStation, has big plans for the event.

Fans are eagerly waiting for Sony's official June line-up of free games for PlayStation Plus members. PlayStation Plus is a paid subscription service that provides users with premium features to the PlayStation Network. These features include exclusive access to demos, game trials, and regular store discounts. Members are also given six games every month together with 3 GB of cloud storage for saving game files.

There are rumors that Sony could release a free triple A game for PS Plus subscribers in keeping with the spirit of E3 2015. The last time Sony released a triple A title for PS Plus was in December last year with "Injustice: Gods Among Us." Since then, the free titles were those developed by independent game studios.

According to Christian Today, some of the games that fans expect from Sony are the racing game, "Driveclub: PS Plus Edition" from Evolution Studios, the beat 'em up game, "Knack" from SCE Japan, as well as the first-person shooter game, "Killzone: Shadow Fall" from Guerilla Games.

Sony is also offering a number of game titles at huge discounts of up 60 percent to PS Plus subscribers this May. The list of games include: "Alien: Isolation," "Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag Gold," as well as "Battlefield Hardline."

Like last year, Sony will simulcast its E3 press conference in movie theaters across the United States. Fans can catch the press conference on June 15.
