"The Real Housewives Of Atlanta" season eight has had many cast changes after the exit of two of the show's most important housewives. In June 2015, Bravo star, NeNe Leakes, announced that she is leaving the show in order to pursue other careers, according to People. However, TVGuide reports that the housewife will appear on the show and pop up as and when required.

The 48-year-old star's exit comes close on the heels of her nemesis' departure, Claudia Jordan. Jordan and Leakes were important to the show due to their long-standing fights and numerous arguments. This left a gaping hole for Bravo to fill in.

While the network has not announced the confirmed cast or set a premiere date for season eight, People reports that star, Kandi Burruss, will certainly be on the show's upcoming season.

The reality star also confirmed the news of her pregnancy to the publication following her marriage to Todd Tucker. Burruss also revealed that filming for "RHOA" is underway and it will chronicle her pregnancy.

"We just started taping. Obviously you will get to see a lot of our journey through this pregnancy, but other than that it will be drama as usual," the star noted.

Apart from Burruss, OK! Magazine reports that Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore and Phaedra Parks will also be reprising their roles as housewives. Previously demoted, Porsha Williams, has been upped as a full-time housewife. Williams was made a friend of the housewives in season seven and it is likely she was promoted as a full-time housewife in order to fill the void left by Leakes and Jordan.

While two of the most dramatic stars are out, fans will have much to look forward to as Burruss' pregnancy is aired. As filming draws to a close, more casting details will be made available.
