'Rick and Morty' season 3 spoilers: Rick escapes prison?

Following the selfless and heartwarming finale that left fans wondering what kind of a man Rick truly is, there is now a hot rumor suggesting that the plot of "Rick and Morty" season three will see Rick escaping the Galactic Federation prison.

In the finale of season two, Rick turned himself in to the Galactic Federation so he could save his family. The act is considered his most selfless yet as everyone knows the man to be defiant and most of the time self-centered.

While the plot of the new installment is still under wraps, a photo posted by the franchise's comic artist Giahna Pantano led many to believe that Rick may somehow get out of the maximum security facility where he is being held.

It is worth noting that the design Pantano uploaded on Twitter was done for a potential "Rick and Morty" shirt so there is no official word to rely on if the art is teasing something about season three.

It is predicted that Rick will escape, and with the help of Morty and the Sanchez family, Tammy will finally be defeated. As fans know, Tammy killed poor Bird Person and it's only reasonable that Rick has a good amount of grudge against the spy. Rick does look like he is victorious in the design and this could mean that something good will happen when the upcoming episodes arrive.

According to iDigital Times, Pantano commented on the possible season three opener wherein she said, "Even for a guy like Rick fear can be overwhelming, but the key is not to let it consume you completely. It can not contain you. Nor can an intergalactic prison. You must rise above. Even in what seems to be the loneliest of times, you must and will rise above."

Earlier this month, showrunner Justin Roiland told Collider that the upcoming episodes are "some of the best we've ever done" so fans should sit back and watch out for the big events that will go down in "Rick and Morty" season three.
