As fans continue to ponder on the finale of "Rick and Morty" season two, there's still no news on the premiere date that viewers have been waiting for. On the other hand, production for the new episodes pushed through, and it is expected that big announcements will be made in the next few months.

According to Christian Daily, the development team is working hard to produce episodes that will once again give fans a reason to laugh and reconsider their decisions in life. The show's official Twitter account has also been posting memes to remind fans that work is going on and fans should patiently wait for another round of adventure.

It is expected that the hit series will return this year. However, there is no confirmation yet so any rumor on the alleged premiere date of season three should be taken with a grain for salt.

The grand finale of season two was enough for viewers to be excited for what's in store for the two unlikely heroes. It is worth noting that the wedding between Birdperson and Tammy seemed to go smoothly at first, until Tammy's secret of being an undercover agent for the Galactic Federation was revealed.

It has yet to be revealed what season three's plot will be but some speculate that Rick and Morty will be faced with the Galactic Federation's fury again soon. Some also suggest that the two will try to live peaceful lives on three planets that fortunately aren't under the Federation's rule since returning to Earth is no longer a safe option.

Fans have known that Rick sometimes makes erroneous decisions that put his loved ones at risk, but it is worth noting that at some point in the previous installment, he was able to put his family's needs first.

It is speculated that more of Rick's changes will be shown in the third season, while the Galactic Federation will push through with its pursuit of both Rick and Morty.

Meanwhile, it has been revealed that a Blu-ray version of the second installment will be out by June 7 for fans who weren't able to see the grand scenes and sequences on television.

The news was announced through the show's Twitter account in March. Amazon is accepting pre-orders for those who want to secure reservations. The series is tagged at $24.99 for Blu-ray and $19.99 for DVD.
