(Twitter/Samsung)The long-rumored Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro has finally been launched in China, but it is not known yet whether the unit will be released in other countries.

Samsung has finally unveiled its long-rumored Galaxy C9 Pro smartphone model and the launch happened in China.

Speculations and rumors about the unit can now be confirmed or denied. The unit has a metal exterior and curves that make its physical appearance similar to that of the Oppo R9s and Oppo R9s Plus. It also boasts of a 6-inch Super AMOLED screen with 1920 x 1089 full HD resolution. It is built with Qualcomm octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor with built-in 64 GB storage.

Its rear camera has a 16-megapixel capacity with f/1.9 aperture with a 4,000 mAh battery. But the most impressive feature would be its RAM, which is 6 GB in capacity. Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is the first-ever Samsung phone with 6 GB RAM.

The memory capacity of the unit can be expanded further with the microSD card slot. The aforementioned specs of the phone are expected to make the unit a fast-performing one. It will surely be attractive for many people in the market who have grown to be heavily reliant on their mobile phones.

Although Android Nougat 7.0 has already been unveiled, the phone unit comes with the Android 6.01 Marshmallow operating system. Whether it will eventually be updated to the most recent OS has yet to be confirmed. The unit comes in two colors — rose gold and gold.
It has been announced to be sold at 3,199 yuan, but whether or not the phone model will be available in other countries is yet unknown. The equivalent of the stated price in dollars is US$470.

Samsung has become one of the most notable names in the gadgets, devices, and appliances industry. However, its more recent flagship phone, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, continues to figure in a controversy. It is yet to be seen if Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro would be able to gain back some of the trust the company has lost recently.
