Actress Sandra Oh will be leaving "Grey's Anatomy" after ten years as Cristina Yang.

The 42-year-old actress is gearing up to finally leave the show and recently tweeted a photo with her co-star Kevin McKidd (Owen): "Shooting one of our last scenes."

Oh, who starred in the hit medical drama series since season 1, announced in August last year that she would be leaving the show to pursue other opportunities.

She told The Hollywood Reporter: "Creatively, I really feel like I gave it my all, and I feel ready to let her go. It's such an interesting thing to play a character for so long and to actually get the sense that she wants to be let go as well. [Cristina] wants to be let go, and I am ready to let her go. We have to start the process, story-wise, for the Grey's writers to think of why she's going to go."

She continued, "I've gone through a lot of therapy over this. I started thinking about it because I had to prepare myself. I gave myself two years to emotionally let go. At the end of last season, Shonda took me aside and said, 'What are your thoughts?' I said, 'I'm ready.'"

With only 4 episodes left to the "Grey's Anatomy" season 10 finale, viewers will be curious as to how her character Dr. Cristina Yang will bow out of the hit show.
