Racy thriller and suspense show "Scandal" is replete with ample drama, cliffhangers and surprises. Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) makes quiet a scandal as she was abducted in episode nine before the show went into hibernation mode. Avid spectators of the show got little relief when the trailer for the upcoming episode 10 titled "Run" showed very little of what is to come.

In episode nine, Pope was seen engaging in a passionate hook-up with Jake (Scott Foley). As Jake left the room, Olivia dances and enjoys a glass of wine. The kidnapper enters and abducts her, before she can attempt to scream for help. Jake enters the room a little too late. The trailer, released by the network, only illustrates the kidnapping through Pope's eyes, leaving little room for answers.  In the promotional clip, Olivia is seen running along a dark hallway.

Scott Foley teased fans in an interview with TVGuide that "The physical kidnapper we have not met before...We don't know the person. We just know (Andrew and Lizzie) are behind it. It has to do with all the stuff going on in West Angola." Rumor mills are speculating that guest star Jason Butler Harner may be the culprit behind Pope's abduction.

So far, producers and actors of the show have told very little about what is to come and what fans can expect in the future. TVLine hints that Pope's whereabouts are not only shocking but also hilarious.

It seems that all fans can do now is to wait for the Thursday premiere of the drama-filled episode 10 of "Scandal". Viewers can tune in on Jan. 29, 2015 on ABC to find out what twists and unexpected surprises Olivia Pope has for the show's ardent fans. Hopefully, the wait won't be too long.
