'Sense8' season 2 release date rumors: Show returns 2017?

Ever since "Sense8" season 1 wrapped up, fans have been wondering when the show will return for its second season, and recently, some reports suggested that the hit series will make its comeback sometime in 2017.

Late last year, it was reported that season 2 will premiere on the same date as the first season, which is June 5. It was also said that the upcoming installment will come this year. However, the report seems to be impossible at this point since it has been revealed that filming for the second season will begin this month.

Some experts believe three months isn't enough time for Netflix to bring in the second season since jammed-up sequences may result to bad outcomes for the much-anticipated installment. On the other hand, some fans believe that production can produce the next season by fall of this year.

While some footages have been shot over the holidays, the main cast is said to begin filming this March so a late fall premiere or early 2017 is more possible.

Meanwhile, there is a lot of talk recently about the first season's finale wherein Will (Brian J. Smith) fell into unconsciousness. Fans who love the character are debating whether he will remain unconscious in the upcoming season or if a miracle will happen. His unconsciousness can also mean that he may not be part of season 2 — a theory that fans aren't pleased about.

Fans should remember, though, that Will had a very good reason to sedate himself. After all, he did it to save the rest of his team. Whispers (Terrence Mann) seemed to have the upper hand when he made eye contact with Will, allowing for the enemy's cluster to see through everything in Will's mind. However, Will made the sacrifice that continues to bother fans.

It is unclear how the writers will turn the tide and come up with a storyline that would keep Will's friends from danger if he wakes up or if someone from his team will decide to awaken him from his deep sleep.

For now, fans can rely on the fact that Will is a very important part of the series and he can't be cut off for no very special reason.
