In season 1 of the TV series "Sense8," eight strangers from around the world have suddenly found that they are connected with each other and can even experience some of the things each of them goes through. In season 2, they will come to terms with their power and learn how to control them at will.

To help them achieve that is Puck (Kick Gurry), a new character who will be introduced in season 2. Puck will teach the main eight characters how to live a normal life apart from each other.

Gurry said that his character will become a "significant part of the show" and that he is "along for the journey."

Aside from learning how to control their powers, season 2 will also revolve around the love triangle between Wolfgang (Max Riemelt), Kala (Tina Desai), and Rajan (Purab Kohli), where the latter is rumored to become the main villain.

Moreover, season 2 will also reportedly show more of the Nomi/Amanita love story, Sun Bak's return where she becomes stronger than before, and Will's struggle to get away from Whispers (Terrence Mann).

Although the cast didn't reveal any spoilers for season 2, Gurry has this to say about the Sense8 storyline, "It deals with things that people in the Western world are talking about, like privilege and wealth, and with people who are on some kind of spiritual awakening and thinking about how connected we are as human beings."

Aside from the Wachowski siblings, Sense8 will also be directed by James McTeigue of "V for Vendetta" and Tom Tykwer of the "Run Lola, Run" fame.

Regarding the release date of season 2, "Sense8" writer Bryce Olin initially said on a Reddit forum that they were hoping for a June 2016 premiere date. However, given the complications involved in shooting the series, that playdate seems to be pretty ambitious.

Recent news said that filming will start next month in 16 different locations around the world including Mumbai, Istanbul, and Berlin.
