'Shameless' season 8 spoilers: Will Fiona's luck in business continue to be terrible?

Fiona (Emmy Rossum) will tackle a new business venture in the next season of "Shameless." Will she finally experience the sweet taste of success?
Showtime has recently announced the renewal of the show. All the original cast members will be returning, including Rossum. Previously, she and the network were revealed to be talking about the best way to settle the problem with her salary. The actress reportedly wanted her pay to be equal to that of William H. Macy's, who plays Frank in the series. Fortunately, the two sides were able to iron out everything. Rossum will reprise her role as the eldest Gallagher child who cannot seem to escape the curse of her family.
According to IB Times, Fiona will be busy with real estate in season 8. She has just purchased her boyfriend's building and thinks this business venture will work out more than her previous projects. She actually made good money managing Patsy's Pies. Problems with her salary forced her, however, to consider other means of earning money. She then got a loan and bought Etta's (June Squibb) laundromat, thinking that running it would be a piece of cake. She could not have foreseen how much she would spend fixing the whole place.
When Fiona finally got the hang of managing it, she realized the job was not for her and sold the laundromat. She wanted to try experimenting with real estate. With her luck, will she succeed?
Meanwhile, it will be interesting to see how the rest of the family will fare in the upcoming installment. Frank will probably be in trouble once again. As stated in recent spoilers, Ian (Cameron Monaghan) is back with Trevor (Elliott Fletcher), but there is always the off chance that Mickey (Noel Fisher) will return. Lip (Jeremy Allen White) will do his best in attending AA meetings. Will he stay sober for long?
"Shameless" is expected to return in 2017 on Showtime.
