'Sister Wives' season 6 news: season focus is Robyn's legal battles; Is Meri quitting the show?

"Sister Wives" has garnered significant viewership numbers and success since it first aired in 2010. Five seasons down and the show is still going strong with as much drama especially as news of Robyn's second pregnancy created quite a stir in the Brown household.

People magazine announced Robyn's second pregnancy with Kody Brown. The couple confirmed the news to the publication and expressed their excitement over becoming parents again. The family announced, "We are so happy to announce an eagerly expected new member of the Brown family!"

The child is due on January 7, 2016. Kody, the Brown patriarch, is now a pro at being a father and tackling pregnancies, having fathered 15 other children from his spiritual marriages to Janelle, Meri and Christine. However, season five's dramatic end saw Kody divorcing his legal wife of 25 years, Meri, so he could marry Robyn.

Robyn needs to get married to Kody so she can get a good chance at winning the custody battle she is fighting against the father of her children. But Day Herald reports that the battle may be too much for the other wives.

Janelle seems to be at odds with Robyn's pregnancy news and custody battle. Robyn is taking center stage in the show and in Kody's life. While Meri and Christine seem optimistic and happy for Robyn, Janelle does not seem to share their happiness. She believes Kody's divorce and remarriage may change the dynamics of the Brown household and the spiritual wife is not exactly too good with change.

Rumors are also circulating that Meri wants a monogamous relationship and may quit the show following the divorce. Her posts on social media seem to indicate that she may want to pursue her dreams and get a college degree.

"Sister Wives" follows the story of a polygamist family in which Kody has spiritual wives and lives with them and their offsprings.
