There is still no official word from FX network about the spin-off or prequel of the hit American drama series "Sons of Anarchy," which concluded it seventh and last season almost two years ago. However, new rumors have surfaced that lead actor Charlie Hunnam will no longer be a part of it.

According to reports, despite the show's successful seven-year run, Hunnam is rumored to have no interest in coming back to the show's spin-off. The reason behind this is his clash with "Sons of Anarchy" showrunner Kurt Sutter.

Although Hunnam did not officially decline the offer of the possible prequel, he revealed on the Men's Journal that he had a feud with Stutter.

"Kurt and I never blasted each other in the face," Sutter said. "But, I will say it got close."

Hunnam has also accepted the show's decision to kill off his character Jax. He knew that Jax will end up dead, and, as he was reading the script, he and Kurt had a lengthy conversation about it. They concluded that letting Jax live in the series finale would have been more cruel, after all the ups and downs that he went through.

In an interview with Deadline, Sutter revealed about his plans for a possible prequel. However, if it is given a greenlight, he plans it to be a single season with a 10–12 episode run. It will follow Nam, John Teller, and Piney's relationship origin. It will also reveal how their club was created.

As for The Mayans club, Sutter said, "I casually said I'd be open to doing something with the Mayans. It's the same [biker] subculture, but it'd be interesting to see the influences of that culture and how it impacts the subculture we already understand. I would do a contemporary piece, not a prequel."

More on FX's "Sons of Anarchy" prequel will be revealed soon.
