The last season of Sons of Anarchy is deemed to have had one of the most brutal endings of any series in modern television, and the upcoming season will definitely live up to the hype, at least according to the show's creator, Kurt Sutter.

During their panel at Comic-Con 2014 in San Diego, Kurt Sutter revealed the first scene from the first episode of Sons of Anarchy season 7, and it shows a horrid image of Jack's mental state.

In the scene, Jax, played by actor Charlie Hunnam, seem to be struggling with his mental health in prison. He is then seen beating up a fellow inmate until the unfortunate male passes out.

Jax then carves a swastika symbol on his stomach, and then proceeds to pull his teeth out. This kind of violence is what makes Sons of Anarchy into one of the most ruthless shows on television, and Kurt Sutter wants to keep it that way.

Sutter revealed during the Comic-Con 2014 panel that the last season will be more "proactive" for Jax, who is deemed to seek revenge for the murder of his wife, Dr. Tara Knowles-Teller.

"He's driven, with a singular purpose. Rather than being a reactor to chaos, he will be the inciter. It's almost like writing a brand new character," said Sutter to the audience, as reported by Entertainment Weekly.
