(Facebook/ StarWarsRebels)"Star Wars Rebels" series will premiere this year on Disney XD.

"Star Wars Rebels" will be joining Celebration Europe next month.

The animated TV series' director Dave Filoni posted on his Twitter account the participation "Star Wars Rebels" at Celebration Europe, which will be held from July 15 to 17. The said event is a fan gathering that will present all the cast, crew, writers and personalities behind "Star Wars."

Filoni said in his post, "I'm looking forward to seeing you all at #SWCE 2016! And remember, there's always a bit of truth in legends."

Filoni and the creative team always respond with "there's always a bit of truth in legends," every time they're being asked about whether the "Star Wars Legends" will appear in the upcoming "Star Wars" films and TV shows.

Fans are speculating that the "Star Wars Legends" will be incorporated into the upcoming "Star Wars Rebels 3."

George Lucas together with his team, who helped with the designing, is expected to pick up something that they like from the "Legends" and incorporate it into the upcoming "Star Wars Rebels." This will bring much delight to the fans of the animated sequel.

Other speculations are about the "Star Wars Rebels" joining Darth Maul and Darth Vader together in the upcoming episodes.

As reported by Christian Times, Filoni said that having them both would require a lot of screen time. He said that they can try to talk about having this storyline but they would need to give other characters lesser focus. Filoni said that if Darth Vader and Darth Maul will both be joining the series, the focus will be primarily on them.

Nevertheless, there's no confirmation yet on whether or not the upcoming series will see Darth Vader and Darth Maul together.

"Star Wars Rebels" season 3 is currently in production and will be premiering this year on Disney XD.  The movie outfit commended the creative team for keeping the series packed with the principles that fans loved about "Star Wars," including adventure, hope and the battle between good and evil.

Fans of "Star Wars Rebels" are still waiting for a release date. However, no announcement has been made yet.
