The next episode of "Steven Universe" is titled "Steven Floats" and it will feature the lovable character gaining a new ability. Season 3 episode 6 will also shift its focus back to Steven .

The last two episodes of "Steven Universe" have shown a lot wonderful moments for Steven as he helped Lapis Lazuli adjust to life on Earth. He was also successful in helping Peridot get through Lapis. It is his good deeds that is said to gain reward from the Malachite. His newfound ability will be that of floating, but as he enjoys his power, he encounters trouble when he gets struck in the skies. He has patiently helped with the other gems and now it is time for them to work together to help Steven get back to earth.

Aside from the lovable characters, viewers of the show are always excited to hear what songs each episode has in store. Los Angeles Times was lucky to have a glimpse of the recording for the current season where they also got to talk to series creator Rebecca Sugar. Despite using animated objects, "Steven Universe" is successful in connecting with real emotions.

Each episode imparts a lesson on relationships, may it be among families, friends, and casual acquaintances. The inspiration behind this is Sugar's personal experiences with her brother, Steven.

On planning the storyline, Sugar shared, "We had always planned on having the world kind of open up in front of Steven because the entire show was supposed to be metaphorical to moving from childhood into adulthood and suddenly understanding what's going on around you."

Aside from personal experiences, Sugar revealed that they constantly talk to other people as well, as they write. The show has successfully imparted the views on how love is fluid as well.

Regardless of age and gender, playful moments between Ruby and Sapphire are being widely talked about in social media.

"Steven Universe" season 3 episode 6 airs on June 9.
