It's been known for quite some time now that Jared Leto, who currently plays The Joker in the DC film "Suicide Squad," is one of the actors who truly commits to his role to the point that he even plays it even off camera.

However, this one is a bit different because his character's personality in the film is somewhat similar to a psychopath or a lunatic. Margot Robbie, the actress who plays Harley Quinn, has recently shared her experience with Leto and revealed that at one point, she was actually terrified of approaching him.

While talking to NY Daily News, Robbie discussed her experience on set and shared how she was confused and terrified of Leto after seeing him without his make up on. "At first it was kind of confronting (to be up close) but now I'm so used to it, I think if I ever saw him out of makeup now I would be really confused," Robbie said.

The Harley Quinn actress then added "Actually, I saw him out of makeup once and I was actually petrified of him. I was too scared to go up and didn't know who that person was, and when he got back into his makeup I was far more comfortable."

It has been a well-known fact that Leto always takes his role seriously and as realistic as possible, both on and off camera. Last month, according to a report by Cinemablend, Leto sent some creepy gifts to his cast mates such as a live rat with a love letter for Robbie, another letter accompanied by a piece of bullet for Will Smith and a video of him dressed as the character apologizing for not being present at the time and a dead hog for the whole cast.

"Suicide Squad" is set for theatrical release next year, Aug. 5, 2016.
