'Suits' season 6 spoilers: Harvey frequently visit Mike in prison

(Facebook/SUITSonUSA)Harvey continues to root for Mike in "Suits" season 6.

Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) will continue to be a father figure to incarcerated Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) in the sixth season of "Suits."

Mike made a huge decision to choose a plea bargain deal to stop further investigation on Harvey and the firm. This meant sealing his fate and spending a couple of years in prison. It has already been revealed that there will be no time jump in the upcoming installment. The premiere episode of the new season  is expected to show Mike during his first night in jail. The promo also shows Harvey looking so dejected after the trial. Even if Mike did lie to him about his background, Harvey has come to love and respect his prodigy.

As Mike adjusts in prison life, he will get a lot of moral support from Harvey. The lawyer will most likely visit often to make sure that Mike is not letting depression get the better of him. Aside from Harvey, there will also be new characters who will somehow make the passing of time bearable while serving his sentence. Deadline reports that Mike will meet three new people in the series.

Erik Palladino will play an inmate named Kevin Miller who will be the closest thing to a friend that Mike will have in prison. The two will come to trust each other as the weeks pass by. There is also Paul Schulze, who will be Frank Gallo, another inmate who will educate Mike to prison life. Frank is reportedly one of the longtime convicts in Danbury. Lastly, Malcolm-Jamal Warner will portray the counselor who will try to keep Mike from sinking into despair.

Although season 6 looks like it is going to be a sad and dark journey for the main characters, Macht told Wetpaint that it would not always be the case. He shared that the new installment would actually attempt to lighten up the mood a bit, despite everything that happened.

"Maybe we'll see these people smiling a little bit more or we'll see some more witty banter and more playful elements of the show. I think there will be more of a balance and a playful nature when we come back [for Season 6]," the actor said.

"Suits" season 6 is expected to premiere in June on USA Network.
