'Super Smash Bros. 4' DLC characters rumors: An amiibo for Cloud to be announced at E3?

(Super Smash Bros.)A leaked Nintendo official CPSIA certificate page is believed to point to Cloud's amiibo. Announcement is believed to be made on its scheduled conference on June 14 during this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo.

The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 is happening and Nintendo players are dying to find out if a new amiibo for "Super Smash Bros 4" will be released. A supposedly leaked document suggests that among the DLC figures released, Cloud miniatures have been manufactured.

The Children's Product Certificate dated June 6 has part number 103610, which seems to point to Cloud. The latest released amiibos are that of the "Splatoon" characters whose batch number is 1037. 1036 may suggest characters released earlier and Cloud is arguably the most popular among his batch. The number of items manufactured is not indicated, but manufacturing happened between April and May of this year.

Cloud was made available on Dec. 15, along with the Midgar Stage. He was the fifth character released after Mewtwo, Lucas, Roy, and Ryu. Mewtwo, Lucas, and Roy did not come with additional stages, while Ryu came with the Suzaku Castle Stage. He was then followed by the release of Corrin who was then followed by Bayonetta, along with the Umbra Clock Tower Stage.

Amiibos are what Nintendo calls miniature figures of its game characters that may also boost game modes, along with other gaming-related perks. An amiibo may work with more than just one game and the use of such brings new outfits for the characters as well. It may also bring new characters to the games, activate bonuses, and bring special items. The amiibo's character may also be used to customize or power up its character. New adventures may also be unlocked using the figures.

The character became an instant favorite among the players, but other characters have strong followers, too.

Nintendo is scheduled to hold its conference on June 14, and until then, gamers have to wait to know if the rumors are true.
