After participating in a Fighter Ballot in April, Nintendo fans are waiting to see which fighters will be coming to the new "Super Smash Bros 4" DLC. However, fans have already speculated that one long-awaited fighter is finally going to make an appearance in the game.

According to the Vine Report, a recent leak on the upcoming DLC speculates that Shovel Knight Amiibo will be coming to the game. The new addition of the character was released via Twitter user, Wario64. The fan released pictures of the Nintendo Amiibo in other sites as well, but has been recently taken down. This is will be the first time the Shovel Knight Amiibo would appear in a third party game platform, if the leaks are true.

The same report also stated that the company behind Shovel Knight, Yacht Club Games, has already denied that their character will be appearing in the new "Super Smash Bros 4" DLC.

The same leak has also speculated that the new DLC will be released during Christmas, just in time for fans to enjoy the game.

Christian Today reports that the fans had numerous requests for different characters in the next DLC, including Dixie Kong and King K. Rool from "Donkey Kong Country," Isaac from "Golden Sun;" Inkling from "Splatoon;" and Ridley from "Metroid".

An unnamed Nintendo employee has also given out hints about the upcoming new character that could possibly be in the new "Super Smash Bros 4" DLC. From the hints the employee has stated, it is believed that the new character was not part of the top requested characters fans picked out, but is expected to make waves through the internet once it is announced.

Nintendo is yet to announce the new character coming to the next "Super Smash Bros 4" DLC. The company has neither confirmed nor denied the leak.
