'Supernatural' season 12 premiere spoilers: Secrets of the Men of Letters to be revealed

(Facebook/Supernatural)Lady Bevell and her order's true motives will be exposed in "Supernatural" season 12.

More information about the secret order that captured Sam (Jared Padalecki) will be revealed in the upcoming season of "Supernatural."

Last installment, a mysterious British woman who introduced herself as Lady Toni Bevell (Elizabeth Blackmore) apprehended Sam. That time, he thought that his brother Dean (Jensen Ackles) succeeded in his mission to stop Amara (Emily Swallow) and was already dead. Out of grief, he told the woman that she could shoot him right where he was standing because there was no way he would come with her alive. Bevell previously told Sam that the Men of Letters was tired of watching him and his brother meddle with things they have no business dealing with.

Right before the season ended, a resounding gunshot was heard, suggesting that Bevell shot Sam. In the past, viewers have been introduced to the organization who are dedicated to anything supernatural. Sam and Dean previously investigated the Men of Letters when they tried to look for existing members who could help them with their task. According to Wikia, their paternal grandfather, Henry, was once affiliated with the order. During that time, they concluded that the group was no more.

Bevell's arrival on the scene changes everything. It is now clear that a British arm of the society still exists and the members are not happy with the Winchester brothers. Most likely, Sam has been shot but he is still alive. Dean will have to act fast to find him before it is too late.

Previously, Ackles talked about the kind of ending he would want for the series. He said he has always envisioned Dean dying to save his little brother. Will this be the case in the upcoming season?

"It's either going to end tragic or it's going to end not tragic, and I can kind of make an argument for both. I don't really know where it's going to go. I always thought Dean would make the ultimate sacrifice for his brother. I guess if I had to choose something, that's probably what I would choose," the actor shared with Entertainment Weekly.

"Supernatural" season 12 will premiere on Thursday, Oct. 13 at 9 p.m. EST on the CW.
