There is no denying that "Ted" was one of the most unanticipated hit movies of 2012. With its massive success, it is no wonder that the movie was green lighted for a sequel as early as three months after the premiere. Now "Ted 2" is only a few days away and the movie's production is in the last stretch of releasing its teaser promos. A couple of days ago, the last trailer for "Ted 2" was released, creating huge excitement among fans.

"Ted", which was first released almost three years ago, is the brainchild of Seth McFarlane, the creator of "Family Guy", "American Dad" and "The Cleveland Show". "Ted" follows the life of John Bennett, played by Mark Whalberg, a lonely child who had wished for his new Christmas gift, a bear named Ted to come alive and be his only friend. His wish was granted at the exact moment when he asked for it and a shooting star passed by.

"Ted" was not exactly the most highbrow of films, but still met with average to positive reviews, receiving 68% and 6/10 approval ratings on Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic, respectively. The movie, however, was a box-office hit and was named the 12th highest grossing film of the year, earning $218.8 million in North America alone.

The last trailer of "Ted 2" released recently reveals most of the details about the upcoming movie.

The sequel will focus on Ted and his new wife Tami-Lynn wanting to produce a child. With Ted obviously unable to reproduce, the couple needs to use a sperm donor for Tami-Lynn to be able to conceive. With the baby on the way, legal problems begin to arise, mostly about whether Ted has a stake in the child or not.

Mila Kunis will not reprise her role in the sequel and has been replaced by Amanda Seyfried as the leading lady who plays Ted's lawyer.

"Ted 2" premieres in North America on June 26.
