'Teen Wolf' season 6 premiere spoilers: New season to find Scott single

(Facebook/TeenWolf)"Teen Wolf" season 6 will premiere in the fall.

When "Teen Wolf" season 6 returns, Scott will find himself without a love interest. Scott has always had romance in the cards, but the new season will be quite different for the pack leader.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Jeff Davis discussed what changes will come for Scott now that his love is gone.

"When we realized that the show wasn't going to have Kira Yukimura this season, we wanted to ask ourselves, 'Does Scott always need to have romance in his life to be a compelling character?' We thought this might be a season where we don't see that side and we see him struggling a little bit," he said.

Season 6 will see a different side of Scott now that he's single. Tyler Posey, who plays Scott McCall, also chimed in and revealed that he's looking forward to the new season because of this. Additionally, Posey unveiled that his character will be "somewhat happy" when the new season premieres, which is not something fans are used to. The events of the previous season has given him quite a confidence boost and he's learned a lot from his experiences.

In other news, rumors have continuously surrounded the sixth season of "Teen Wolf." One such rumor states that Scott and Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) may get replaced down the line with Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) as leader of the pack.

Scott and Stiles are almost done with their senior year in high school, which has caused many to wonder if the show will still continue to focus on the pack leader even after graduation. Reports have claimed that Liam might resume the leader position once the two move on. Additionally, Davis has reportedly said that the new season will explore the lives of other pack members as well.

"Teen Wolf" season 6 will return to the small screen this fall on MTV.
