Fans of "Teen Wolf" have yet to know when the sixth season will return, but the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) is coming up and it is expected that more details about the series will be shared at the event.

SDCC kicks off on July 21 and the show's executive producer, Jeff Davis, confirmed earlier to Teen Wolf News that the some of the cast members will be present at the event. MTV also provided more details about what's coming up at the event.

Although a release date announcement wasn't mentioned, it is expected that the cast and executive producer will give some hints about season 6. What's confirmed though is that a new trailer for the season will be released at the event. The panel is also expected to share some plotlines and answer questions from the audience.

In the meantime, rumors involving Dylan O'Brien's character, Stiles, continue to swirl. Fans may be wondering if O'Brien will be back for season 6 since they know that he had sustained an injury while filming for his movie, "Maze Runner: The Death Cure." Some fans feared that O'Brien might be replaced by a new guy, but Davis already confirmed the actor's participation in the new season.

In March, prior to O'Brien's accident, Davis promised that the new season will feature Styles and his new love interest Lydia (Holland Roden) and that the season will give more focus on their relationship.

After news of the accident broke out, there were speculations that Stiles might be killed off or replaced, but Davis already confirmed in May that the show won't replace the actor.

In an interview with Creative123, Davis said, "No, we aren't replacing Stiles. Dylan O'Brien will be back to film soon." Davis also added that the young actor is willing to film with "Teen Wolf" but he won't be able to do any stunts at the moment.

Fans will just have to wait for the SDCC to know more details about the next season of "Teen Wolf."
